Frequently Asked Questions

Nothing happens when I pump......
A good seal is required between the cylinder & body, use a thick layer of lubricant at the base. Heavy pubic hair may need to be trimmed if the seal is not occurring. Also insure your device is working, try sealing the cylinder against the soft spot on your thigh, stomach or forearm. This will simulate the vacuum pressure & you will feel the sealing.

I feel pressure or discomfort......
It takes up to five or six practice sessions to get used to the unusual sensation produced by the vacuum & confidence ring. At each practice session, pump until you feel some discomfort then release the vacuum slightly & re-pump, this time pumping a little further. Allow one day between each session. Within five or six sessions you'll have an erection suitable for intercourse.

My erection doesn't seem firm enough......
Don't rush the pumping in the beginning. Take 30 sec's between pumps to allow your penis to fill up with blood slowly & you will feel a more natural erection. If you can achieve a partial erection on your own, do so first. This will put some blood in the portion of your penis inside your body & decrease the "hinged" effect.

My erection goes down.....
An erection that goes down after releasing the vacuum is due to "Venous Leakage". If you are using the natural confidence ring, change it to the pink confidence ring. If you are using the pink confidence ring alone, use both the natural & the pink confidence ring, or use both pink confidence rings. Find the right constriction for you. Remember excessive venous leakage can only be corrected by surgery. If tighter constriction is required, contact one of our technical advisors. Be sure to read the instructions for reconditioning penile tissue.
